Dec, 7-8, 2006 RaMSiS visited by Spanish research group from CSIC.
The visiting researchers are Dr. R. del Río Fernández, and Dr. R. Castro López. They are working at Instituto de Microelectrónica - CSIC in Sevilla, Spain.
Dr. del Río Fernández will hold a speach on Circuit design issues with focus on Analog to Digital converters, and Dr. Castro López will hold a speach on tools and methodology of circuit design.

Research visit of the RaMSiS team at Linköping University. We welcome two new Ph.D. students to the RaMSiS project: Jinliang Huang (start in April 2005) and  Saul Rodriguez (start in May 2005)

February 2005 Submission named "NUT" for tape out of 3 chips. One chip contains a large part of a radio receiver front end chain. Two other chips contain stand alone designs.
August 2004

A new chip submission is being scheduled and papers to several conferences are submitted.

July 2004 Members of the RaMSiS group will participate at 3 weeks course "Introduction to Wireless Radio Communications" held at the American University of Beirut.
June 2004

We taped out 2 test chips. The submission called "RA" comprises an LNA, two VCOs, a prescaler circuit (frequency divider), as well as test structures.

May 2004

We are very happy to announce that our paper "Robustness Enhancement Through Chip-Package Co-Design for high-Speed Electronics" achieved the best paper award at the 2004 IEEE International Symposium on Quality Electronic Design (ISQED). The authors of this paper are Meigen Shen, Li-Rong Zheng, and Hannu Tenhunen.

April 2004 On April 13-14, the 4th Swedish System-on-Chip Conference was held in Båstad, Sweden. Members of the Ramsis group participated here.
