Examination

The exam is written and closed book. You are allowed to have a calculator with you, but no other material. For solving the problems in the exam you only need a simple pocket calculator. In case you only have a graphical calculator, you are allowed use it. However, these graphical calculators are only allowed under the condition, that the memory of the calculator is empty, i.e.that you do not store any information in the calculators internal memory. All necessary tables and formulas will be attached to the exam questions.

The exam in HT2011 will follow the structure of the exam from October 2009 which is available below. The exam consists of two parts. In order to pass the exam, you need to pass Part 1. Only if you pass Part 1, we will correct Part 2. Your grade is based on the sum of the points you got in both parts.
