Assignments
The course has two project assignments (totally 3 credits). Project assignments will be done in groups consisting of up to two students. You are expected to complete the project assignments before 18/10 2011. Unfortunately we cannot provide any support for doing the project assignments after 18/10 2011. Project assignments delivered after this date will be marked in conjunction with the next exam in 2012.
To facilitate smooth assessment of your work, we expect you to follow the code of honour as explained here. In particular, when doing your assignments
(a) All members of a team are expected to contribute equally and each member shall be able to present the whole solution (rule 1)
(b) Any help that you may have got from any other group or sources must be reported to Professor Ayani or to Katharina Rasch (rule 2)
Students who deliver the assignment reports before the deadline will obtain bonus points for the exam. Bonus points are granted only if the reports are complete and correct. No bonus points for incomplete reports. Bonus points are reduced by one point for each day after the deadline. Please note that given deadlines are sharp. If your submission does not arrive until 9:00 but during the same day, this will count as 1 day delay and you will get one bonus point deducted. All bonus points are valid only for the first exam in October 2011.
