In order to be admitted to participate in the tuition, take an exam, and/or defend projectwork in 2G1121, you must have elected the course via "Studievägledningen", for your program, that is DEF or IT (or the international students office, if you are an exchange student).
The course contains two parts: a theoretical part (2p) normally reported through a written examination and a project part reported as a written report (2p) which is then defended orally after arrangements with the course leader.
There are lectures (föreläsningar) and tutorials (övningar). The distinction is not significant since all teaching is done in a classroom setting, where the course leader presents the material via slides (all are available elsewhere on this web site for study outside of the classroom)
Look at the detailed schedule for more specific information on the content.
To find the lecture rooms, please follow this link.
Reporting of projects should be done with a report presented at a seminar in class given on the last two scheduled lectures before the ordinary exam.
If you can’t make it and wish to postpone the reporting, please contact the course leader, well in advance.
· A written examination (ordinary) is planned in october.
A second exam is provided if more than five students register at least two weeks in advance of the reexam period. Otherwise the extra exam is given as an oral exam.
A third exam is provided in Aug 2005 under the same conditions (not yet scheduled).
In order to be admitted to an extraordinary exam, you have to register yourself for the exam at least two weeks in advance of the re-exam period. Registration is by sending e-mail to the course leader.
