Welcome to International Master Program in "System-on-Chip" Design

The international master program in System-on-Chip Design is a 2 years education and results in a Master of Science.

The program consists of 18 months  courses and a 6 months thesis work. The education is free of charge, i.e. no tuition fees. The student has to cover only the cost of living, course literature, etc. More detailed information about the new program and courses overview please go to the "Courses overview" page.

For the SoC students of academic year 2005 - 2006 and earlier, the program will follow the old schedule (1 1/2 year program) of the corresponding academic year.

Application deadline for international students (non EU/EEA citizens) and students applying for scholarships for the academic year 2007/2008 is January 15, 2007. Application deadline for EU students (EU/EEA citizens including Sweden) is April 15, 2007

Since October 2005, prospective students have the opportunity to send preliminary applications online. The complete application shall then be sent in by letter and must reach us before January 15 and April 15 2007, respectively. Please note that there are special deadlines for those applying for a scholarship.

The selection process for the System-on-Chip program will be made in the beginning of May.

Applicants will receive a formal letter within a few weeks after the selection is finished. Applicants admitted to the program will be given a preliminary notice by e-mail within a week after the selection process is finished.
