Welcome to EWME-2006

Stockholm is the royal capital of Sweden and home of the Nobel Prize. Built on 14 islands and with well-preserved medieval buildings stand alongside modern architecture, the city is a "beauty on water" and a delight for both the visitor and resident.

Kista is a town 10km north to Stockholm city. It is known as international leading Wireless Valley where over 400 companies perform R&D in an excellent innovation climate including Ericsson, Nokia, Intel, Microsoft, and Oracle. Kista has a central position in the Stockholm region, just 20 minutes from the Stockholm city centre by subway or 20 minutes from Arlanda international airport by airport bus. The workshop will be held in Electrum Building in Kista, the address is Isafjordsgatan 22 (Kistagången 16), SE-164 40 Kista, Stockholm, Sweden.

By public transportation

Subway ("T-bana"): Line 11 (Kungstädgården - Akalla), to Kista Station. Time about 20 min. Exit towards the Kista shopping centre "Kista Galleria" (to the right when stepping out of the subway). Then to the left, through the shopping centre and out of the A-entrance, Kistagången straight ahead up to Electrum, Kistagången 16 (on your left).

Commuter train: Södertälje - Märsta, to Helenelund Station. Time about 15 min, walking distance about 15 minutes.

From Kista Galleria A-entrance: Kistagången straight ahead up to Electrum, Kistagången 16 (on your left).

By car
From Stockholm: On the E4 (towards Uppsala), take the Kista exit (road 279. Turn right at the first exit to Kista. Turn right in the traffic circle, Torshamnsgatan and then turn second left to Kistavägen. Take first right to Isafjordsgatan. Continue 700 m at Isafjordsgatan.

From the western suburbs: On the E18, turn left toward Kista Galleria (road 279). Turn right in the traffic circle and then left at the first crossroad to Isafjordsgatan. Continue 700 m at Isafjordsgatan.

Parking
Park either on Isafjordsgatan or in the garage in Kista Galleria. On Isafjordsgatan you may park for two hours, Monday - Friday between 8 AM and 8 PM. In the garage in Kista Galleria you may park for three hours. The code is available through the Electrum reception.
